Sangeetha Sabha.
V.K. "Flute" Raman is one of the word's leading flautists in the Carnatic style of music. Raman has captivated audiences in a number of India's major music festivals and toured widely in USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland, Sri Lanka, and Japan. On several occasions, he has had the privilege of performing duets along with his Guru, the great flute maestro Dr. N. Ramani.
A Child prodigy , Venkat was born in a music loving family showed remarkable intrest in the percussion instruments at the early age of 6. His parents recognized his talent & put him under the tutelage of Kalamamani V.P Ramdoss. He is a B High grade from All India Radio & he is also well versed in Tabla & has been the permanent member of his Guru Thiruvarur Bhakthavatsalam’s percussion ensemble “Laya Madhura”
Muruganandam was very fortunate to have the guidance & training in the art of concert playing from the violin maestro Sri M.S.Anatharaman of the famous parur style of violin playing. He also learnt the skill of accompanying for dance from Sri KT Sivaganesh. Murugandandam obtained the “Vadya Visharada Degree fro the Tamil Nadu Govt Music College.With his rich professional experience over 20 years, Muruganandam toured India & abroad and had several successful foreign tours.
